Overall Satisfaction with Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)

We can perform hardware scaling on RDS when your needs require it. Amazon RDS allows us to revise these values when we need less CPU, IOPS or more storage space. We able to use popular well-known databases as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. Also we can manage backup, maintenance and, depending on the product you use, newly released updates and disaster scenarios in case of a possible problem.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Support many well-know databases

Cons

  • Pricing should be less
  • Should support more directories
  • After setting up, it is really working well
  • It giving us option to control our all databases via Amazon
