We use Avalara across the organization to collect data on sales tax and file all the sales tax returns as well as watching for Nexus. It helps IMMENSELY to track sale tax to ensure we are compliant with state sales tax laws.

Avalara Returns

Yes, we have upgraded to CFO services with our CPA instead of having them do tax compliance. Much quicker and less risk of error.

Likelihood to Recommend

We have loved using for sales tax in an online environment to track where we have nexus and in filing the returns. It was super easy to implement. We waited until we had 20 states, but I would recommend setting up once you get past three states.
