Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

We use AVI-SPL to provide audiovisual installation and maintenance to our conference rooms. We have been utilizing a company called Adtech systems for nearly 20 years which was recently acquired by AVISPL.

I think the help desk does a good job of supporting the systems. We typically only reach out to AVISPL when we have a complex issue as our on-site support staff can typically resolve issues. For issues that are more complex, AVISPL dispatches a person to our location to fix the issue and has always satisfied us
AVI-SPL has helped build out some smaller conference room projects, most notably for our product group. The new conference rooms were well received, although the project took a long time to complete due to the time it took for AVISPL to acquire Adtech systems
AVISPL stacks up fairly against its competitors. They have excellent pricing power but I would say they fall short in their flexibility and agility. Being such a large organization, I feel like they do not always accommodate our needs on smaller projects because their team has rigid rules they need to abide by. In these instances I would prefer a smaller vendor that can help us out in a pinch when needed.

AVI-SPL does a great job when our conference rooms break and malfunction. I feel like their response time and attention to detail on the service of our rooms is great.

AVI-SPL seems to not prioritize smaller/express projects and the transition from ADTECH systems to AVISPL was slow and clunky. Project timelines were dramatically longer than they should have been.
