Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

BigCommerce is our ecommerce website platform. We are exclusively an ecommerce company.
  • Back end database controls our order processing with customized order status names
  • Good analytics keeps us informed on best selling practices
  • Ability to control status actions is missing
  • Will not send a tracking number link for shipments. Just sends a number without identifying the shipper.
  • It is my storefront and backend.
My products are all custom so fulfillment requires skilled graphic artists to create each product.
We use Klaviyo for email, Facebook, outfy and AdRoll for marketing, Trustpilot for reviews, Shiplark for shipping and PayPal, NMI and Amazon payment processing. All have been easy to integrate.
When we started with BigCommerce we had to have a platform that would allow our customers to upload their images. This feature was not available on many platforms. Shopify was very feature rich but they had a transaction fee.
Ecommerce of product sales is what it is designed for. I would not use this platform for a service company.
