Overall Satisfaction with BigTime Software

It's our timekeeping system. We track billable hours for employees against contracts, which are then used for billing clients. We also track non-billable hours such as holiday, PTO (Paid Time Off), etc.
  • Tracks hours by labor category and project
  • Can customize reports
  • I find it hard to customize some reports, but more technical staff can do so more easily than I do.
  • Time recording
  • Ease of entering time for employees; choosing labor categories and projects, etc.
  • Ability to pull time reports for various projects that are then used for billing/invoicing clients
  • The reports make it easy for me to produce client invoices, which are based on employees' time against each project.
I didn't use the reporting features much on ClickTime, so I can't compare that. The previous company where I was that used ClickTime may have had just a basic subscription for timekeeping.

I had good technical help from Sierra T., who was able to figure out an issue we had with some hours not showing on all reports for an employee.
