Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

We use Raiser's Edge NXT as a customer relationship management tool. We record interactions with our donors and track the history to keep everyone in our office up to speed on where we are at with that particular donor. It helps a lot to have this tool to reference any time we speak with donors.

Pros

  • Intuitive interface.
  • Plenty of options to collect specific donor information.
  • Easy to use notes.

Cons

  • Improved search field - allow the ability to search for a name and present a list of search results instead of being forced to wait for it to populate in the search bar to select the record.
  • Allow for other parameters than names, to be searched.
  • Nothing else I can think of...
  • Contact information tracking
  • Interaction tracking via notes
  • Individual profiles that indicate who entered the information
  • Simplification is the best I can think of -- we have a very small office and having everything stored in Raiser's Edge is a huge time saver.
Unfortunately, we haven't used the data intelligence piece.

Yes

Raiser's Edge is a great tool for non-profits. It works well with small or large companies and is easily catered to non-profit work. So many CRM tools are more focused on the for-profit world. We hired a new employee and she seemed to learn the software with ease. It helps that we can bring in new people without much effort.
