Overall Satisfaction with Bloomerang
We use Bloomerang as our donor and contact database. We will move into using it as our volunteer management system also. It solved the problem of ease of use for multiple employees and ability to segment donors. The key elements attractive to us were: simplicity in look, ability to customize, ease of reporting and overall ease of communication.

- Education and support for using the product
- Some challenges in multilayer reporting. There was quite a learning curve to know how to "hook" one report to another to get certain information such as: "Donors who gave to a capital campaign but haven't given since". Sounds easy, was a bit complicated.
- Some challenges in formatting letters. Information pulled in doesn't always convert to the font the letter is written in.
- Lot's of video watching and blog reading in the learning process. Although most things are very simple once you understand the program it does take a while to learn.
I've used e-Tapesty and Kintera. Bloomerang far exceeds any other donor database!
