Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans

BlueJeans is used across the whole of the Americas: USA, Canada, Mexico and recently, our two sites in Brazil.
BlueJeans is used by every department, and in 2018 we clocked over two(2) million meeting minutes.
Utilizing BlueJeans has helped us improve the number of face-to-face meetings (virtually) while reducing actual expense costs.
  • Face-to-face meetings are inherently important for many meetings. BlueJeans does this very well.
  • BlueJeans support is surprisingly responsive and, in m experience, has a high first call closure rate
  • The integration with Outlook is seamless and easy for even novice users of MS Outlook to quickly master
  • BlueJeans is continuously improving their offering. Plus, with the automatic updates for our users, we are able to ensure they each have the latest version with no (or mostly no) support needed from our Infrastructure Teams
  • There is no "white-boarding" feature in BlueJeans. This is the number one complaint from our User Base.
  • Sharing screens is not always a smooth process. While not every time there is a conference meeting, it is frequent to have the screens freeze -- especially on one of the Video Conference units.
  • Travel costs would have increased had we had this many physical face-to-face meetings.
  • Far more meetings, with better clarity and resolutions as outcomes than having simply "phone" conferences.
  • Better recruitment interviews - especially in regards to the "first" interview. Being able to speak face-to-face with a candidate without having to fly in the candidates saves both money and time.
We measured all of the listed offerings against a checklist of requirements. While BlueJeans did not perform better in all of the areas, it did perform better in a majority of the items. The cost for BlueJeans is higher than some of the other solutions, and this does force us to constantly evaluate the market for a solution which may be able to compare or exceed BlueJeans and yet have a lower total cost.
Lack of Whiteboard, less than desirable Screen (file) sharing, and high cost prevented me from assigning a higher score
BlueJeans is well suited for F2F meetings where there is not a huge amount of file (screen) sharing. Screen sharing is where the product runs the greatest risk of freezing
