Overall Satisfaction with Canto

Canto is being used globally by our marketing and sales departments to share the most recent creative assets including but not limited to; brand guidelines, company logos, imagery and photography, marketing materials, event assets, and videos. It is also used in order to share our most recent photography with publications and external companies, making it easy to always have the most relevant approved content. To make the most out of our preexisting employee platforms we utilize the link feature within Canto to redirect employees to the final assets that are housed on Canto now.

  • Software integration.
  • Training on how to set up the organization of files most efficiently.
  • Training on creating portals or grouped content.
  • Offer filter options based on content type, size, category, and date.
  • Saved time in file management.
  • Reduced out of date content from being used.
The initial training was informative and gave a great foundation to get started but more detailed training on specific features after the fact would have been nice. There are many elements of Canto that can be overlooked or under utilized if a user is not aware of them.

Canto is great for organizations who would like to house all of their assets in one easy-to-navigate location. It offers the ability to organize the files how the company sees fit and offers searching options for when a user may not know where to locate a file. For a larger company that may have a lot of users in multiple locations, it is great to ensure that all employees are using the most up to date approved content. If a company has very sensitive or private information that may need to be filtered based on users' clearance it might be hard to do that with the current restriction settings. It is not as customizable as may be needed.
