Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Canvas LMS for participants of our postgraduate degree online program. We deliver course materials such as readings and videos. Also, students submit assignments. There are two types of assignments: individual assignments and group assignments. This is the main tool for our faculty to deliver feedback of students' work. Canvas is being used across the whole organization. Canvas is helping our students to focus on learning.

Pros

Easy to build a course.
Intuitive navigation.
It has IOS app.

Cons

There is no simple way to add picture to a discussion post (for student).
There is no personal journal functionality. By personal journal I mean direct interaction between faculty and student.
