Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect

We use this as a VPN for security purposes across my company. We cannot access internal information without being logged in to Cisco AnyConnect. We use it on our work administered devices as well as have the option to "BYOD" or bring our own device that we could then enroll into Cisco AnyConnect if we wanted Slack or to check any work things on our personal device like a cell phone or laptop.

  • Logs out too often
  • Needs to be reset often
I think it's highly usable and even if I have to relog in it usually isn't too big of a deal, maybe a single-minute delay. It allows me to work from anywhere like a coffee shop, airport, etc., without having to worry about my or my customer's data being at risk, which is a huge benefit.
We have benefited from this as a remote organization. We have employees all over the world working from various networks at different security levels. Our sales team travels often and needs to access public wifi networks like at airports and Cisco AnyConnect allowed us to do that without fear or worry of our information being stolen.

Do you think Cisco AnyConnect delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Cisco AnyConnect's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco AnyConnect live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco AnyConnect go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco AnyConnect again?

Yes

It's good as a VPN but disconnects fairly often and can be annoying when I need to access something but then have to re-log in and reload pages before I can access things. Sometimes, it doesn't shut out of the window, and I have to use my Mac's force quit option to restart the program and get it reconnected.

Using Cisco AnyConnect

10000 - Everyone with a company issued computer, or that brings their own device and wants to access internal systems needs to be on Cisco AnyConnect. This is a primary security tool for us and its used by everyone in the organization. We probably have over 10,000 employees at this point using the product.
10 - This is an interesting question that I would gauge we have maybe 10 subject matter experts to reach out to, however in my three years Ive never had issues with it and needed to reach out in in-house support. I've moved devices and never had issues with AnyConnect moving over well.
