Overall Satisfaction with Cornerstone OnDemand

We use Cornerstone [OnDemand] for learning and performance, we have used it the past 2 years to do our annual PDR's and objective settings. One thing that we have struggled with is using Cornerstone [OnDemand] to do our training needs analysis.

Cornerstone [OnDemand] is similar in some ways, however I've found that most of Cornerstone [OnDemand] requires self learning to configure the system, you don't get a lot of support from your Cornerstone [OnDemand] CSM, this is very time consuming. There is an option to outsource configuration to a Cornerstone [OnDemand] partner but this costs between £500 & £750 per day, so can be quite costly, on top of the annual Cornerstone [OnDemand] cost.
I think there are too many configuration options, an LMS specialist is needed to be able to configure effectively, as you get very limited support from Cornerstone [OnDemand], its all self led training resources, unless an expert it is time consuming to configure and too complex. It requires a resource to be managing the system fulltime for it to be successful

Cornerstone [OnDemand] is really good for the Performance side, there are lots of additional functionality that can be enabled such as skills, competencies etc. I think the Learning side still needs some work, as we haven't successfully worked out a way to do our training needs analysis easily, also the Edge Import process is long winded and over complicated, when wanting to upload historic training records.
