Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Creatio is a business precesses management system implemented in the company which is my major customer. I was the one who was responsible for BPM online (its former name) setup and integration. Currently the software is the main business platform we use daily for sales and marketing (we've got both sales and marketing licenses).

Pros and Cons

Pros

Creatio is super flexible, good for any business
This BPM has good administrative options
Creatio is cheaper than some famous CRMs and BPMs

Cons

Reports dashboard settings are very tricky
Not all UTM parameters are added to the lead (like content, term, etc)
System updates require testing before implementation (if there are custom modifications)

Return on Investment

Creatio made business processes both quicker and more automized
It provides good integration with webforms and lead management
Combines both sales and marketing within one place

Alternatives Considered

For this customer, I've been choosing among AmoCRM, Insightly, Bitrix24, Zoho Bigin (and CRM) and many others. The choice of Creatio was predicted mostly by the fact, that the company was using Terrasoft CRM previously. So it was a safe decision and choice to have the same provider of the service. And there was a good discount for loyal customers.

Usability

I would give Creatio all fives, but this software is designed for companies (multiple users, teams, and departments), so my ranking is influenced by feedbacks I heard from sales managers and other personnel working with Creatio. During the process of implementation, there were many issues. It took more than a year to set up everything for everyone. Creatio definitely needs someone within your company to be responsible for implementation tasks (user education, integrations, customization, testing)

Support Rating

Support is really good. Maybe it is because we had a dedicated support manager. But still, all issues were resolved timely. There were too many at the beginning, but now when we solved most of the problems we contact our support manager mostly before the updates. We have a testing platform to test all updates.

Likelihood to Recommend

Creatio is good for medium-sized and big companies which need highly customizable software. It's good for businesses that have both online and offline stores. On the other hand, Creation is too "heavy" options for startups and small enterprises requiring simple and very cheap solutions and no specialized personnel to support and administer Creatio.
