Our business development team primarily uses D&B Hoovers integrated with Salesforce to find new companies and contacts and verification.

The company data is usually spot on. The official company name and address are the most helpful, while phone numbers and company description are also great to have.
We have found that the contact data can be outdated. While the information listed on a contact is usually accurate, many times the contact no longer works at that business. The job titles can also be incorrect. For example, the D&B on our company has many contacts that are no longer with the company or have titles that don't exist. Granted, there are many correct contacts, but it just shows that we need to do a second check through LinkedIn or another database to verify the information.

Industrial Info Services is updated on a daily basis. While it might not have as many companies listed, we can request more information on any company and they will do the digging.
