Overall Satisfaction with Deputy

Scheduling, timesheets, payroll, staff communication. This is used across many areas of our businesses & is very helpful. Scheduling - I like that I can ask staff to confirm or decline their shifts although I wish this option was available when publishing as an app shift notification. I have staff that finds it annoying to receive in-app, email & text notifications for all shifts. When signing in the two-factor authenticator can be rather annoying if working on a laptop & my phone is plugged into music in another room.
  • Link timesheets & payroll to Xero this saves me alot of time
  • Scheduling & providing weekly wage / shift summary
  • Assistance team is great
  • Publishing shifts - I like the accept decline function although I don't like that this is only available when selecting (In-app, email & SMS notification)
  • Some setting can be hard to find
  • The award set up includes all allowances that may not be relevant to the job role for certain staff members, every time these are carried over to Xero many have to be deleted it would be good to use the award setting but be able to make a template for each staff member
  • Saves time for payroll
  • Payroll accuracy
  • clear rostering system for staff
  • Easy log in/ log out for staff

Do you think Deputy delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Deputy's feature set?

Yes

Did Deputy live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Deputy go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Deputy again?

Yes

Easy to use & support is the best I have used for any software
It was easy to set up & use. Staff found onboarding easier & completed quicker than previously when completing paperwork
When employing more than 5 staff members on a roster that changes regularly & penalty rates are in place for different shifts. This would not be suitable if staff is on set rosters & standard salaries.
