Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
At our coaching and training company for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical industries, we rely on Dropbox every day for storing both internal and external files. The external files mainly consist of videos that our customers can watch on their own or files from our HVAC and plumbing company that serve as templates for laying out their documents.
- Organization
- Sharing
- Live Editing on Documents
- I didn't like the last two updates for the organization. It doesn't make things easy to find.
- The search function is not my favorite and usually can't find what I need by using search.
- I don't like the dark theme that Dropbox changed to without my knowledge of change.
- Accessibility: The ability to access files from anywhere with an internet connection can improve flexibility and remote work capabilities for employees.
- Efficient Collaboration: Dropbox can enhance collaboration within a team by providing a centralized platform for file storage and sharing. This can lead to increased productivity and streamlined workflows.
- Security Concerns: Storing sensitive business data in the cloud raises security considerations. While Dropbox implements security measures, businesses need to carefully manage access controls and permissions.
- Box
It has been quite some time with busy days in between, but I sort of preferred Box to Dropbox because files were much easier to find. On the note of easier to find, in Box, when you'd favorite something, it would be right at the top of the page, and with Dropbox, you have to dig to even find your favorites. However, Dropbox is better at organization overall. It's just the search function that fails for me.
