Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

One can share files and folders from your cloud storage, simply by copying a link. Store the files on the cloud to save the work and operate online anywhere with safe authentication. Transfer large files, like videos, by sending a link for recipients to download.
  • Transfer large files, like videos, by sending a link for recipients to download
  • Data security and easy accessibility
  • Accessible from any device with safe authentication from the Cloud
  • Easy to organize data and share it with the link
  • Files shared by link will not get synced when changes are made by you on the same files.
  • New files added by other people or devices aren't syncing to your device.
  • The Dropbox files and folders disappeared from the screen and sync stopped working.
  • The app is available for practically every operating system
  • Automatic file backup and synchronization
  • Comparatively expensive paid subscriptions
Dropbox is better for integrating with third-party apps and collaborating on audio, video, and image files, and it gives you an easier time managing the security settings if you're gunning for business plans.

Do you think Dropbox delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Dropbox's feature set?

Yes

Did Dropbox live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Dropbox go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Dropbox again?

Yes

Suited because the app is available for practically every operating system, offers a flexible array of collaborative tools, gives solid offerings for premium subscribers, has digital signatures enabled, superb app integration, automatic file backup and synchronization, and has offline functionality. It's not well suited because it has poor storage limits for free users, comparatively expensive paid subscriptions, security weaknesses, and a limited search function.
