We use Dynatrace for application analytics and monitoring of our AWS cloud applications systems and processes.
- Easy to set up.
- Agent does all the work for you.
- Analytics are good.
- More analytics in application monitoring.
- Better customization.
- So far has proved to be an excellent monitoring tool.
- Easy to use dashboards.
- AppDynamics and New Relic
AppDynamics is harder to implement because you have to set up the thresholds and various parameters to get the right data. Dynatrace, the agent does it all for you. New Relic didn't integrate very well with the applications we were using.
