Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
Our DevOps, engineering, QA and product teams all use Dynatrace in some capacity. Product primarily uses real-user monitoring and session replay features to detect issues and gain insight into how users are engaging with our product.
Pros
- Session replay capabilities.
- Ability to detect quickly how many users where impacted by an issue.
Cons
- Tagging features associated with session replay.
- Masking capabilities.
- Dynatrace is a big spend for a company of our size, getting teams to leverage the data enough to make it worth the spend is still TBD.
- Session replay has been a quick win for product team and CS.
We already had Dynatrace and are contracted through 2021 so we didn't do a deep dive.
