Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

Our DevOps, engineering, QA and product teams all use Dynatrace in some capacity. Product primarily uses real-user monitoring and session replay features to detect issues and gain insight into how users are engaging with our product.
  • Session replay capabilities.
  • Ability to detect quickly how many users where impacted by an issue.
  • Tagging features associated with session replay.
  • Masking capabilities.
  • Dynatrace is a big spend for a company of our size, getting teams to leverage the data enough to make it worth the spend is still TBD.
  • Session replay has been a quick win for product team and CS.
We already had Dynatrace and are contracted through 2021 so we didn't do a deep dive.
I have had limited interaction to-date.

From a product perspective, I have gained quick insight into how our users are engaging with new features via Session Replay immediately following a release. The ability to quickly detect how many users are impacted by an issue and ability to drill down to see how has been resourceful from a CS, marketing and product perspective.
