Overall Satisfaction with Evernote
The sales team utilizes Evernote to take notes in meetings both internally and with the customer. By creating shared notebooks, we are able to easily collaborate and synchronize the efforts of the team. The ability to add tags also allows us to easily search for specific information related to a customer or business topic. The software is great at addressing the need for simple collaboration and providing the ability to tag and classify information.
- Ability to sync latest version of any type of information across multiple platforms
- Ability to classify information for easy discovery based on tags, notebooks and location
- Simplified and clutter-free user interface/design that allows the user to easily capture relevant information and quickly tag for future discovery
- Capture plugin for internet browser is convenient and very easy to use
- Needs better "to-do list" capability. Latest release has reminder feature but software is still lacking native to-do list tracking
- Lacks advanced formatting options for text
- Places limitations on monthly upload amounts
- Better customer service
- Faster and more targeted employee training with the ability to see each accounts history
- Enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing.
We spent a brief amount of time looking at OneNote but many employees complained that the app kept crashing. Most employees already used Evernote in their personal life, so it made sense to go that route since a majority of our users were already well versed in using the application.
