Overall Satisfaction with EverString

The marketing dept is using EverString to find accounts with Intent data then the business development team is reaching out to those accounts based on the data and using content to align with the intent data. The Biz Dev team is also using EverString to import contacts/leads and reaching out to those leads.
  • Good intent data - some of the accounts are legit looking at certain words
  • Easy to navigate the solution is simple and straightforward
  • Integrates well with SFDC
  • Some intent data is less than ideal
  • Some contacts are very off
  • The lead search function is hard to use
Our sales/marketing teams are able to find account intelligence in EverString on our own. Only one training session was required for us to get comfortable with EverString. The application is easy enough as well so by getting in and poking around, we were able to get comfortable ourselves.
I would say I am 50/50 satisfied with EverString's ability to identify the best-fit accounts for our team to pursue. On one hand, the intent data makes it easy to narrow long lists down and by adding CRM fit, we are able to identify solid accounts but our CRM is less than accurate so we might be missing some.
We have adopted the ABM strategy. EverString has enabled that strategy because we can now take a list of say 1000 accounts and then bounce them off the everstring data to prioritize accounts that have intent data. This makes it easier to digest as the 1000 account list was overwhelming with no legit way to begin narrowing it down.
We have been able to be more targeted with our approach and to hone in on the intent data showing. This has helped us narrow accounts down but we still arent seeing a huge velocity increase. It varies from account to account and there are a lot of variables but we are working to improve.
I am not on the side of sales/marketing to look at the data in terms of number/quality of leads, opps and deals. From a lead generation perspective it has helped us improve how we attack accounts and prioritize them. I am able to do more now in less time on a consistent basis.
To be honest, we use EverString data to complement the use of Data.com and sales navigator on LinkedIn. While EverString is helpful in prioritizing accounts, the contacts can be less than accurate and not every account is listed with intent. It is one arrow in our quiver of tools used in our outbound efforts.
In outbound lead generation, EverString makes it easy to zero in on accounts, industries, and contacts to pursue. Sometimes the data is legit and the outbound efforts prove to be fruitful, sometimes the data is not legit and it is a huge waste. It makes it easy to narrow down long lists to only pursue those with intent data.
