Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting
We use EZ Texting to message our agents and staff about important brokerage functions, events, and information. Our local branch brokers also use it to remind agents and staff about meetings and deadlines and process changes. The main reason we use the service is to get messages read via text, since many people either have email inboxes that are too crowded or they simply do not check their email regularly. This allows us to convey important information via a communication method that gets attention.
Pros
- Ease of keywords to quickly subscribe people to groups or topics that are important.
- It checks each message sent to ensure that it is formatted correctly (either SMS or MMS) so the content of each message is delivered each time.
Cons
- The UI on mobile devices is still a bit buggy. It's still usable if you know what you need to do, but there's room for improvement there.
- We were not looking for a financial ROI per se. We were more interested in finding a platform that let us use MMS to communicate with agents and staff who wanted and were expecting our messages.
From the time I signed up to the time we sent our first group message, it was less than 10 minutes. This included uploading a list of our agents and staff and setting up multiple keywords. In terms of results, we received positive feedback after our first group text, and from there we have refined the length and content of the messages to better suit our needs.
As previously stated, we signed up and started using the platform in about 10 minutes. That is a testament to the ease of use and how well the platform is designed.
I have only needed to use support a few times, and each time it was fast, professional, and accurate. Great support overall.
We do send images on occasion, and have never had any issues with formatting or image quality.
We use keywords to quickly add agents and staff to appropriate groups and topics. It's a simple process and works really well. Having a dedicated short code makes the process foolproof.
We looked at other group texting platforms and did not like the annual commitments or the interface or the pricing models. We chose EZ Texting because they were the clear leader in those elements.
