Overall Satisfaction with EZ Texting

Perhaps unlike many users, our company uses EZ Texting for message distribution to our entire workforce located throughout the state. Messaging includes (but not limited to) access to our company newsletter, event invitations, morale boosters, important notices affecting job sites, and general company announcements. We are able to contact our employees reliably and quickly and have found a much higher read and response rate over email.
  • Account set up was easy and clearly outlined
  • Contact list creation and editing - love the group feature, easy to upload lists or modify individual listings
  • Reporting/reports were helpful and easy to understand
  • Consistency in delivery of messages
  • Website - using links is frustrating as activating the actual link is often not the word for the link but the space under the word or place that one usually expects. So, you can "click" over and over again and nothing happens till you find the exact spot.
  • Often times when I would search for a contact using a name, nothing would appear (except the message "this contact doesn't exist). When I would search using the phone number the contact would come up (with the name I searched for previously.)
  • The pricing structure for smaller businesses is pretty steep - $75 monthly for only 500 credits and no rollover. Plus the extra charge for added speed.

EZ Texting's set-up was easy and straightforward. All instructions were clearly stated. It's very easy to upload contacts or edit individual contacts. The ability to put contacts in groups is very helpful - and that a contact could be in more than one group. The process of sending a text is clearly presented. It's helpful to have everything you need on one screen when creating a group text: the visual phone screen, letter count, personalization tokens, SMS, MMS, etc. Concerning responses back in the EZ Texting inbox: it was sometimes frustrating that after a text was read, it would still be listed as unread in the count. I would have to go back and reread all of them as I thought there were new responses.
I used AI Compose a few times. This feature helped me to focus on the meaning of the content, helped me get to the point, and use fewer words. It also helps configure a message more appropriate to our audience. I'm an older person, much of our audience is a lot younger.

We've found that our employees are way more engaged with company communication by text over email. We send out notices for company-wide Zoom/Teams meetings and have increased our participation by 50%. Link tracking in text messaging similar to what is available with email services like HubSpot is extremely valuable, which helps us learn what works well. We can send messages that disperse important announcements of upcoming deadlines, new employee opportunities (professional development), and timely job site information such as weather related closures.
