Overall Satisfaction with FloQast
We use Floqast for our month-end close process for majority of our clients. It's a simple solution to keep all supporting documentation, audit of sign-offs, and notes to other team members all in one place.
- Sends notifications once an account is out of balance
- Allows you to assign notes to other team members and mark those notes as complete when handled
- Makes it easy to update check lists
- Make it easy to mass update approvers when necessary
- The errors when trying to delete documents can be frustrating
- When the software is not reading the hashtag in a document so the number is not showing up to be reconciled
- For the accounting softwares with direct integrations, is there any way to show what changed in the account that goes out of balance instead of just showing the dollar amount it changed by?
- Floqast has streamlined our workflows internally. Before Floqast, we were saving all recs in Sharefile in different folders.
- With Floqast, we are able to see an audit trail of signoffs so we can physically see that a team member signed off on this work which is extremely important especially when books need to be sent to the tax preparer.
- Improved visibility - anyone who has access to the client can see where the close is at and where they are stuck.
I do not have experience with these automation tools. I need to check them out and see if they are in our current company subscription!
These tools have helped tremendously when it comes to audit time. We have actually given the audior read only access in Floqast so that they could see supporting documentation and pull it themselves which saves us as bookkeepers a bunch of time.

I have a few calls set up to go over demos with Keeper and Xennett so we will see how those go. It seems they have more AI technology. I did not have a part in choosing Floqast - this was originally chosen by our leadership team at my firm.
