GiveSmart is a Smart Get
Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart
It is being used to host our golf tournament online auction. The only people who use the backend are in two departments, Philanthropy and Marketing. It is not being used by the whole organization. Even within my department, I am the only one who knows how to manage the backend. It gives us the ability to have an online auction and not have to do a paper auction. It also made it so people could bid from home as well, which was certainly important the last two years.
Pros
- Customer Service
- User Interface
- Reporting
- Community Buildings
- Accessibility
- Customization
Cons
- It is on the more expensive side, but it can be used all year long for many campaigns
- Some extra customization was not available
- Some people don't understand how to use the tech
- Improved donor bidding insights
- Increased fundraising revenue
- Improved network reach
- Improved reporting
GiveSmart was way better and so much easier to use. GiveSmart was way more customizable and much better looking. The customer service was much easier to contact and they build a sense of community across the country with weekly and monthly optional webinars and meetings. That was great to be able to talk to peers across the country who are dealing with the same issues and share ideas.
