Overall Satisfaction with GiveSmart

It is our fundraising/event platform that is used by a committee of people organizing our annual events. It allows for ticket sales, mobile bidding and digital communications before, during and after the event. It is also customizable for each event.

  • Easier way and more options to upload videos.
  • Whether a virtual or in-person event, the platform works well for us.
  • Reporting is very helpful in planning future events.
  • Flat rate pricing is much preferred over add-on products.
The other mobile bidding systems we used are no longer in existence. Many have merged together. The biggest advantage GiveSmart had over the other platforms was flat rate pricing. That is why we selected them.
There are plenty of videos and articles to train us how to use the platform, and customer service is available, but the functionality is still a bit limited. I believe you will find this with all platforms to some degree.
I think that our account reps have been great, but turnover is high in this business.
The GiveSmart platform allows for customization so we have no problem importing imagery (logos. banners, colors) to support our brand. When you create your home page, you have many options available for use. User experience is friendly, whether on a mobile phone or laptop. Many messaging options are available for use and these can also be customized. Our constituents are comfortable using the platform.
It is great for silent and live auction bidding and the flat rate pricing leaves no room for surprise or unexpected charges. You can easily figure out how to set up your platform or reach out for assistance.

It is tricky to offer ticket "bundles" and you may have to adjust your revenue or find a work around to adequately reflect revenue streams.

There has been a lot of turnover at the company, so your account reps will likely change each year.
