Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Meeting
GoTo Meeting is largely duplicative of other software we have access to. As a result, we have switched away from it. The platform is robust and stable, but it is redundant for us. Accordingly, we have switched away from it and devoted those resources to other products that are not duplicative.
- Bring multiple individuals across platforms into a common meeting space.
- Schedule meeting and resource times effectively.
- Allow presentation of files, desktops, and materials in a seamless fashion.
- GoTo Meeting is duplicated in almost every respect by Microsoft Teams.
- Other platforms are sometimes bundled in at greatly reduced or no additional cost with necessary software packages.
- Integration into other platforms as a native client.
- Our ROI on this product is low only because we get the same basic functionality with already included bundled components of other necessary software packages.
- Prior to the improvements within those bundled solutions we have access to, GoTo Meeting offered more functionality at a price point that made much sense.
- Enhancements to other, bundled software solutions make the ROI on those greater. We lose some functionality (GoTo Meeting is a superior product), but the cost of adding GoTo Meeting to gain an additional 10% functionality puts us on the downside of the ROI curve.
- Microsoft Teams and Zoom
GoTo Meeting is a superior product to Teams. Teams, however, is included at no additional charge with our enterprise license with Microsoft. Because Teams does 90% of what GoTo Meeting does, the ROI isn't there for GoTo Meeting.
Compared to Zoom, GoTo Meeting is the far superior product. However from a cost standpoint, for small businesses and non-profits, the functionality of Zoom may well provide everything needed at a far lower cost.
