Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used GoTo Webinar in order to attend seminars and conferences without having the travel expenses. With huge efforts in place at our organization to lower costs travel and conference expenses are regularly covered unless you can show you can attend virtually which GoTo Webinar made possible.

Pros and Cons

Easy to connect and use as someone attending a webinar
Provides a variety of presentation options that makes participating in a webinar engaging

In my experience, it tends to be glitchy at times.
User interface may not be as well known to some users as other platforms so making user options as clear and easy to use as possible is key

Return on Investment

Allowed me to continue to attend educational events at a lower cost so that my company approves my attendance. Would not be able to attend without this platform

Usability

Some user options could be clearer essentially for this with less tech knowledge

Alternatives Considered

Zoom

They are very similar but GoTo Webinar is specific to webinars and those type of events so I find easier to use in that specific instance.

I have typically used GoTo Webinar in order to attend lessons and seminars in my particular subject area. This has been critical as a year ago I started a new job that required a lot of learning on my part and goto webinar has given me access to a variety of seminars and lessons that have increased my knowledge exponentially
