Overall Satisfaction with GoTo Webinar

I am a presenter and I use GoToWebinar to deliver presentations on various topics. GTW has a LOT of features for presenting, not all of which are used. We use GTM in conjunction with Zoom, depending on what is needed or who the webinars are through. For attendees to use GTW, they only have to download a little bit of of software.

  • not as popular as zoom anymore
  • As a presenter, GoToWebinar is very easy to use without needing setup
  • Can be frustrating for attendees who are expecting or used to Zoom
As a presenter it is very easy to use once the meeting is setup, and does not require much effort on my end. Once I am using the webinar, I feel like it is easy to move around and the components make sense. There is a lot on screen, but it's fairly intuitive, and not all the modules are needed.
Zoom is the biggest and most well-known competitor. We use both, although lately have been using Zoom more. I think they both can be good, but I think GoToWebinar offers more participant and engagement data, and also makes it easier to share files. But Zoom is more user-friendly, more accessible.

Yes

GoToWebinar is great for meetings with a lot of attendees, if you want very specific attendee data, or if you want a more straight-forward way to share files. I think if you are looking for a user-friendly solution and don't care as much about attendee data, I would say Zoom is better.
