Overall Satisfaction with Jira Work Management (Jira Core)

We use JIRA as a ticket management tool. All users have access to it. Any request or roadblock that any user faces will raise a request on JIRA. Then the IT team will allocate the ticket to the respective team Poc's to action on the requests... Once the issues/request is addressed. The user will be notified on JIRA platform.
  • Helps is raising the ticket
  • Useful in allocating the ticket to the respective POCs to action upon.
  • The tickets can be closed & notified to the user once the issue/request is addressed.
  • It requires manual intervention from the IT team to allocate the tickets to the concerned team
  • If it can automate the ticket allocation process then it will be better
  • Support ticket system
  • Helps in coordination between the teams.
  • Ease of use.. So that no training is required whatsoever even for new users.
  • It has a positive effect on the system by helping in collaboration between the teams
  • It helps to raise the ticket for the request/issues by the users.
  • Email integration is very helpful in communicating to the users once their support ticket is addressed.
Tried to use Salesforce for ticketing management... But Salesforce was more suited in project management & work flow management. Salesforce is very good for the above mentioned points but when we tried for the ticket management system it was not giving the desired results & JIRA is very good in supporting ticket management.

Well suited scenario: Since I'm an user if u need any access to any of the software or if I'm not able to login to any of the software due to any issues. I can raise the request on JIRA. The ticket will be allocated to the concerned team. Then the concerned team will work on it to close the issue & update the same on the JIRA.
