Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use JotForm to get reference forms filled out. I believe we are the only department within our organization that uses JotForm, but others may use it. It is a quick way to get responses to numerous questions that we ask references. It saves us time, so we don't have to call references.

Pros and Cons

Ability to build logic into the form
Ability to clone a form and do the appropriate revision

There have been useful improvements over the last few years. Can't think of any weaknesses.

Alternatives Considered

We use a variety of different products. I realize that our use of JotForm is very limited to just a response form for information. We selected JotForm because of its customizable features. We need to set our reference forms up with logic, and Google Forms have this but are more limited and basic.

If you want to do more analytic surveys that will involve converting data to graphs, etc., a person would probably be better off to use Survey Monkey or other survey software. It is excellent for getting responses from people and keeping the responses organized with the ability to download them and save them to your computer.
