Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training

We use KnowBe4's all-access security awareness training, including PhishER and PhishRIP. Our entire organization is using these tools, including US and UK users, in over 15+ locations. We perform full phishing simulations, training, and use the Phish Report button for users to report into PhishER. We have statistically proven a high reduction in user click activity, and this program fulfills our security strategy for educating and performing simulations.

  • Material and content are updated weekly and have phishing simulations for current events based on what is reported to KnowBe4 from all customers.
  • Exceptional support and knowledge base.
  • Low price point compared to competitors and value is exceptional.
  • Step-by-step guides on setting up the entire program based on your specific business needs.
  • Free materials and blog content is always up to date and relevant.
  • The best software company I have ever worked with from sales, to support, to management.
  • They have an AI component that is in Beta, would love to see it fully implemented.
  • PhishER automated activities could be better.
  • Once a campaign starts, it is hard to make changes without starting over.
  • We have reduced our overall phish prone percentage from 24% down to 6% in less than one year and after replacing an existing solution that had been running for over a year.
  • Our percentage of users who are participating in training has increased by 75%.
  • We are averaging around 100 user reported non-simulated phishing attacks every 30 days.
Support was amazing from day one. The evaluation period was well orchestrated and the level of support to make the purchase successful has been outstanding.

Evaluating KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training and Competitors

Yes - Sophos Phish Threat. The vast library of training content and ease of use sold KnowBe4. Sophos has a great product, it lacks the maturity and depth that KnowBe4 brings to the table. We also looked at Barracuda's product and several other niche products on the market, but KnowBe4, in my experience, beats them all hands-down.

Looking at the overall product offering by KnowBe4, it was their product features that ultimately hooked us. They have several tiers of content and the mod-store is easy to access and browse for content. Probably the best feature is the ASAP program that walks you through setting up a successful program from start to finish and this significantly helps in getting the program up and running quickly.
That is a good question. KnowBe4 has a great evaluation process and has a ton of free content to phish users and run campaigns.
Other providers had stale content and a small library to choose from and did not integrate training. KnowBe4 is lightyears ahead of these other providers.
