Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
I've used Power PDF for more than 10 years. As a freelance web professional, it was an inexpensive alternative to Adobe's product. I've never regretted my decision because the program allows me to create and manipulate PDFs for a variety of purposes. I'm on the board of several organizations and would be lost without it. I recommend it and would give it a dozen stars if possible.
- Creating basic PDFs from other documents.
- Conversion to Word, Excel.
- Editing of documents that require only a small change - e.g., correcting spelling, changing dates.
- Creating complete documents from several documents and from blank pages.
- I would like the typewriter to work differently.
- Adding text boxes - would like to see the options for borders, colors, etc. as a single smallish window.
- Text boxes start out large but don't automatically shrink to the size of the text. That means I sometimes need to move the box from "off screen."
- This program (application) does what it's designed to do at an incredible price.
Easy to use. It's enabled me and those I work with to easily accomplish our tasks.
A couple of others including Adobe Acrobat. Cannot recall the names.
