Overall Satisfaction with Lifesize Video Conferencing

We use Lifesize for video conferencing on a global scale. We find the sharing of a document or presentation works very well. Also inviting ones inside and outside the organization is very easy. We also appreciate the audio joining feature for those on the road but who still have phone service available. We use this feature as well when ones are without sufficient internet.
  • Clear uninterrupted video conferencing.
  • Chat and presentation sharing.
  • An easy to use interface.
  • Managing the users, an admin cannot edit one's name if the name is missing.
  • Setting or defaulting to a structure for the directory, Fname or LName right now it is anything goes, and the directory is live so one can put in a nick name that could be vulgar.
  • Updates, it would be nice to push these without interaction.
  • Allowing an install setup for Lifesize cloud to be on at startup and logged in.
It's best suited for groups of less than 12. It needs a company wide feature where others can be muted with ease, like on a conference call bridge for an all hands meeting.

Lifesize Video Conferencing Training

Online training with Lifesize Video Conferencing works very well, collaboration with a live camera on the same screen helps both the student and teacher. The interchange and collaboration is a great tool for training, I would recommend this to colleagues in the industry.

Configuring Lifesize Video Conferencing

The configuration is not too complicated, the complexity of it is that any updates require the user to be a local Administrator, which is very intrusive to the end user.

I have attended and hosted many calls with little to no issues with the exception of when ones that are on slow or public WiFi.

Relationship with Lifesize

I like lifesize as a video conferencing solution. I know there are other options for video conferencing, however, Lifesize is the best solution for enterprise-wide video conferencing that I have seen. in the organization that I use Lifesize in, we have had a need for support and Lifesize has good support as well. Lifesize continues to get better at what they do.
