Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Jobs

LinkedIn jobs is used by our recruiting department to post jobs, source candidates, and search for certain job posting criteria. It helps us in multiple areas of the hiring process; most often, to post roles and get candidate applications in. We also utilize it to assist with job criteria. LinkedIn Jobs lets us see what other titles companies are using and what search terms might appear to help us best title our job postings.
  • Candidate sourcing - LinkedIn Jobs has a lot of search parameters for sourcing candidates and makes it easy
  • Job posting - it is simple to post jobs and to copy old postings or edit current postings
  • Easy to reach out to candidates - you can set specific message templates to use to quickly and easily reach out to prospective candidates
  • The new UI is a little odd. "Projects" take precedence over job postings now, and it makes things a little difficult to navigate.
  • Some of the search parameters don't function as intended. I have had issues with boolean searches not excluding certain terms.
  • We typically see about 50% of our applicants come from LinkedIn Jobs.
  • Advertising our open postings sees a very large increase in job applicants, usually of about 30% or higher.
LinkedIn Jobs is by far the most efficient tool to use for posting jobs and sourcing candidates. It is the easiest tool to use, and it sees the best results.
LinkedIn Jobs support has always responded when I need assistance and made it a very personalized experience when asking for help. They truly read through all of the information you are giving them and come back with an applicable response. We also had personalized account members working on our team who would offer to meet in person, so that made the experience even better!

LinkedIn Jobs is a fantastic resource for job posting or sourcing candidates, both for the same reason: the customer base is extremely large. You will see many candidates apply via LinkedIn, and there are plenty of customers signed up with a LinkedIn profile to source from. The only area it is a little difficult in is utilizing it for job postings outside of the US or UK.
