Overall Satisfaction with Litmus

We use it to test localized ongoing worldwide marketing campaigns out in various email clients and platform combinations. As each language varies in length and email apps change constantly, it helps decrease potential layout issues and display bugs. We also use it to increase deliverability and open rates by testing subject lines, pre-header text and spam filters.

We have integrated it with Salesforce Marketing Cloud before but don't have that level of the account currently. If I remember correctly, it was helpful to do all testing within Salesforce, not having to switch to a separate Litmus window. Unfortunately, we couldn't justify keeping that functionality with a decrease in email campaign frequency the following year.
It helps makes decisions on what to include and exclude from future email campaigns content-wise. What types of copy gets more extended reading scores and what types and placements of calls-to-action get the most click through rates. It also helps us determine which email clients and devices to prioritize testing based on our customers' usage.
We have used this in limited way. Mostly only one person is engaging with Litmus product daily. This is not a product feature used by our team frequently. That said, we have used it in the past to gain instant feedback from clients who wanted more hands-on involvement in the approval process.

Litmus is great for testing new email templates and layouts and troubleshooting issues with certain email clients (mostly Microsoft Outlook for Windows in our case). It has saved so much time troubleshooting Outlook quirks over the years. I can't think of a reason not to try it as an email marketer/developer.
