I LOVE LOOM! I couldn't run my web design business without it.
Overall Satisfaction with Loom
I use Loom several times a week to send videos to my clients and team members. There is no way that I could run my business without it.
Loom allows me to quickly share detailed information and tutorials with people while working remotely. It has been incredibly helpful when training new employees, because they can watch the video at their own pace (speed it up, pause it, read the transcribed text, etc).

Pros
- Allows you to share your screen across the internet immediately. No downloading large video files
- You can specify if you want to include your headshot, voice, or both in your screen share.
- You can set custom privacy settings to ensure that your information is safe and secure.
- It's easy to embed files into a website, copy/paste the link into an email, or download and upload to a website. Very desktop and mobile friendly, no matter what browser you're using.
- I also love that you can watch videos at 2x the speed. It makes my work flow extremely efficient.
Cons
- The video trim feature has improved a lot recently, but it's still not perfect. Sometimes when I trim a video clip, it distorts other parts of the video.
- It would be nice if they had a referral/affiliate program. I would get all my friends to sign up!
- The ease of use - being able to share my clients a link to their video, that they can access immediately (without any additional software download or login steps).
- Being able to record my screen and a video of my face while I speak at the same time. This is HUGE! It's helped me establish my credibility and trust with clients. And it was incredibly easy to get used to.
- Being able to pause videos while I'm recording and delete parts of videos that didn't record well.
- Being able to transcribe videos automatically for accessibility.
- Loom has increased my efficiency and value to clients so much. I save a ton of time by being able to send them video recordings walking through their website rough drafts and final tutorials.
- Loom is incredibly affordable. I am satisfied with their subscription cost.
- Loom has helped me communicate clearly to clients, so there's less room for error/misunderstanding (especially when talking about design decisions).
