Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Any member of my team can open any of my documents and add their input. This enables us to collaborate in real-time or from different time zones. It takes little or no training to get started. finding ideas and templates from other users is also very easy and helpful.
A large portion of our company uses Lucidchart, but it is still not the official flow chart and collaboration tool for the enterprise. For my team, Lucidchart has been a great tool for us to walk through data flows and processes. We have developers and stakeholders around the world. This tool helps create a shred understanding.

  • Integration with Smartsheet.
  • Shared meaning with team members.
  • Improved ability to communicate effectively.
Our company uses Confluence. We import Lucidchart diagrams into Confluence and edit them where they are accessed. That capability is a big time saver.
I have had nothing but energetic and helpful support whenever I asked for it.

No

Promapp is better for collaborating about processes and maintaing process ownership.
Lucidchart is very versatile and allows us to do a lot more.
I prefer Lucidspark to LucidChart for most applications, however. I wish there was a single license for the two, or at least a bundled rate.
Lucidchart is best suited for flowcharts. It would be good for story mapping, but it does not integrate with Jira like Lucidspark. LucidChart is also well suited for ongoing discussions. The tabs help organize thoughts and ideas. Being able to add team members in Lucidchart is a great benefit and aids in collaboration.
