Magnolia is actually taking care of all the Corporate Sites of Prosegur, covering all the footprint of the company worldwide and all our businesses

Pros and Cons

Agility to create new contents
Customization capabilities
Roadmap of the product

Reporting of activities performed by contributors (changes, publications, accesses...)
Log information related with the operation of the platform
Only five versions for each conten are usually not enough

Return on Investment

Accelerated launch times, we are able to generate a complete new web site in a few days
The roadmap and strategy are alligned with our needs (SPA, Headless, DXP...)

I see two main pains:
1. A new user need training to be able even to start using the platform, the onboarding is difficult
2. The platform needs a server with a relevant amount of memory to run properly, the dependency on the memory is really high

Performance

As I said in the previous question, there is a high comsumption and dependency on memory of the server

Alternatives Considered

Joomla!, Drupal, WordPress and Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP)

Putting all together: capabilities, support, community and price... Magnolia is the best combination, maybe not the best on each aspect, but for sure in the combination

Likelihood to Recommend

Magnolia allows you to create your web sites in a really easy and fast way. No coding and enough available tools to create fancy sites. Also in case something additional is needed, customization is easyly supported so you can create new content apps can be greated expanding its capabilities. The main improvement area from my point of view are the reporting features. There is no easy way of obtaining information about how your users are using the platform. Especific ad-hoc reports can be built, but the platform does not support it out of the box.
