We're using Marketo primarily within the marketing team at present, but also as a means of supporting other sections of the business - sales, product, etc.
It replaced a product which caused numerous problems for the business and teams within it. It has massively simplified many core elements of our communications, allowing us to speak to our customer base in a more relevant, targeted and timely manner.

- Huge range of possibilities with how you use your data.
- Organisation. It's so easy to keep things under control.
- Reporting. Keeping key stakeholders informed on how key campaigns are performing is simple.
- Some aspects of the connection to salesforce can be tricky for complex instances.
- Support team, while fantastic, can be stretched a little thin.
- It is one of the pricier options (but worth it).
- Engage and grow customers over time
It's early days for us yet so it's hard to commit with solid numbers, but all signs suggest that Marketo will absolutely help this goal.
