Lead management - our primary goals are to track meaningful datapoints and metrics based on user behavior and demographics, and pass them to our sales team for more informed follow up. Marketo is great - offers a completely customizable platform where we can create a host of custom fields, triggers, and processing to facilitate this, and a native integration with Salesforce to help pass that data to our sales teams. The sales insight package is also helpful for giving quick meaningful data to the sales team (in Salesforce), and works out of the box.
For Prospecting/New business, Marketo offers standard email marketing that's able to handle very large volume and can connect with platforms like webex, GoToWebinar, and others that are an integral part of our prospecting processes.
Marketo offers everything that similar competitors offer, but on top of the features of products like Hubspot and Pardot, Marketo is capable of much greater customization, and offers a solution that can be made to fit our business specifically, and allows for future scalability as our business [grows].
