Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Access

It is used by the whole organization for:
  • Database of customers.
  • Contact information.
  • Products and services purchases.
  • Other detailed information.
  • Marketing lists.
  • Run queries. Prepare reports.
  • Analyze and quantify data.
  • De-duplicate contacts.
  • Slow when large amounts of data are being queried.
  • The dashboard could be better styled.
  • Not user-friendly. Training needed.
  • On a cost/benefits analysis, the relatively low cost justifies the limited benefit.
  • Marketing usage has indeed increased revenue.
  • Good for contact management (CRM).
While not having the graphic capabilities, Access is better than Constant Contact for customer database. It has more search capabilities.
Good for simpler databases and tasks. For very large databases, I'm sure a SQL solution would be better.

Not good across multiple platforms. If other users have inconsistent data then there could be a problem integrating.
