Overall Satisfaction with Miro

First and foremost, Miro's boards have been a lifesaver after remote working became the new standard. We have been using it a lot for collaborative brainstorming sessions. Additionally, the possibility to draw process maps or even use it as a general empty board to draw on is very useful. The advantages relative to Zoom's own whiteboard are how easy it is to draw on Miro, how it can be kept permanently as an editable item and how collaborative it can be.
  • Collaborative Brain Storming.
  • Process Maps.
  • Collaborative White Board.
  • Some first-time users get frustrated while creating a user.
  • Could give tips to move around board (using middle mouse button).
  • Improved productivity on remote meetings.
  • Time-saving for continuous work review.
  • Improved contribution from different parties in teams.
I haven't used the integration facilities of Miro. I know it has a Microsoft Office 365 integration but we are using it mostly as a stand-alone external tool in our works. Hence, I am not in a position to rate the ease of integration at this point in time.
Exactly as mentioned, the most common use of Miro for us is to use it as an online whiteboard to collaborate on. We have a very large organization and very complex processes at certain parts of our business. Hence, while explaining or investigating some part of the business you need something to draw on. Now that we are working remotely, Miro is my go-to tool for such situations.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Zoom has online whiteboards and we can share collaborative files via OneDrive. However, these tools are not as easy to use as Miro. It is difficult to set up a collaborative environment for that and it is difficult to keep the work results in one place. Miro solves it all.
It is perfect for collaborative work. Even if the other users have no Miro account or have never used it before, just share a link and they are in. They can start using it intuitively. We do not use it much for Agile backlog keeping because there are some more suitable tools for that.
