Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Miro is used by different project teams across the organization depending on the project needs. We usually use Miro as a common platform to share knowledge and brainstorm and discuss ideas. We use Miro both internally and externally. Externally, we usually use Miro as a dashboard where we present results from data analysis, graphs, etc. Sometimes, we also use Miro instead of PPT as a presentation tool.

Pros

  • Platform to discuss and brainstorm ideas.
  • Conduct internal and external workshops.
  • Use as dashboard.
  • Use for presentations.

Cons

  • Switching between scrolling and editing can become a little difficult at times which results in shapes getting displaced sometimes.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved discussion and deliberation in decision making.
The initial setup cost was very low. I was able to learn its basic uses within a few hours. The introductory videos were especially useful.
The integration between Miro and PPT isn't very intuitive due to which we had to take screenshots of the Miro board for presentation.
We were using a Miro board with a team of 8 people. 2 of our teammates were based in the US and 1 teammate was based in Nairobi at the time and the rest of the teammates were in India.
