Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • Having a single unified tracking platform has eliminated the problem of projects and deliverables "falling through the cracks." This of course ties directly to client billing. Monday.com is a very reasonably priced platform with a variety of pricing levels. We were able to choose the appropriate price point and not pay for features we do not need.
Monday.com is used by our research team to manage client projects. Before moving to this platform multiple team members were tracking projects in spreadsheets. This process was inefficient and led to problems in tracking and managing projects and deliverables. Step 1 was combining tracking to a single unified platform that was accessible to all. Monday.com was quick and easy to implement which turned the first goal into an easy success. Since then we've been continually refining our project management practices taking advantage of the platform's offerings to streamline our project tracking, deliverables management, and invoicing processes.
  • Collaboration - Monday.com is easy to roll out to users both fully licensed and free users. Everyone can see where tasks and items stand and collaborate in a single platform.
  • Customizability - One of our deciding factors in choosing Monday.com is its customizability. Each board can be custom for your needs. Other tools used by our organization are inflexible and not user friendly.
  • Although the functionality may be available and I'm just not aware of it I'd like to be able to see more user stats. For example, do I have a billed user that hasn't logged in within the last 6 months?
I rate monday.com as a 10 because it can be as simple or as complex as needed. Setting up a new board is very easy and if needed you can just import a spreadsheet and instantly make it a cloud solution. If you need a very simple interface with only a few entries then you can do that. If you need an extremely complicated system spanning many boards with automation then you can do that. We evaluated other platforms and they forced issues and processes that just weren't compatible with our business. We can make Monday.com whatever we want it to be.
The best support is the support that you don't need. Whenever I've needed something from the support team they've been very responsive. It has been exceedingly rare that I've needed to reach out. The help resource is well built with videos to explain just about anything you're looking to do.
We are happy that subtasks have finally been added to the platform. So far the features have worked as expected and uptime has not been an issue. We are an office environment and so are only using the platform during business hours. I can't comment on uptime during the off hours.

Monday.com is great if you need an easy to implement customizable platform for tracking things. Collaboration is highly integrated making the platform a great one-stop-shop for project management. Other legacy platforms we evaluated were inflexible and required tons of information and inputs that we didn't think were relevant to anything. If you already use and love the legacy approach then this probably isn't the platform for you.
