Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We started using monday.com as a replacement for JIRA. With monday.com, we are able to bring all the respective stakeholders on one board and split the tasks accordingly with a timeline. The in-app comments section and the integration with slack have made everybody's work clear and goal-oriented. User Interface is so welcoming and there are many tiny features that give a wholesome product and are loved across the departments.
  • Create customizable boards to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • The activation process is simple(one-click email) and a non-member of the project can access the board even without creating an account.
  • The mobile app is another advantage, as the user can have a look at the tasks on a non-working day or away from the keyboard.
  • Filters are not helpful as they need to have multiple views
  • While inviting the user, it should pre-populate the user name based on the organization's email ID.
  • The FTUX has room for improvement as it's hard to identify the sub-items of the task.
  • Work-flow tracking got easy as all the stakeholders update their work on respective boards.
  • Resource allocation and getting the task updates got improved.
  • Time & team management has got better as the work status is tangible.
After using monday.com on a daily basis for a year now, I am giving this rating. With monday.com, we are to ship out the products in less time, as all the team members have access to the boards and the task update process is simple. We get slack notifications instantly on the task allocation and completion, which helps the user to manage his work and focus on new requirements.
During the early days of monday.com usage, we had multiple issues in integrating our internal tools with the software, where the CS manager helped us resolve the issues in very little time. The TAT for resolving the issue and prompting us about better usage from the support team helped us to stick with this software for a long time.
Monday.com has been our prime software where almost all the departments in the organization rely heavily upon. The software helped us categorize the tasks among the stakeholders and get frequent updates on the assigned tasks. Its integration with the internal tools and the work status fields, helped the entire team to stick with the timelines. Templates are highly helpful to building customized boards. All in all the software syncs every team to achieve the organizational goals.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

If your organization is working on multiple products and the product team is split across different product lines then you should consider monday.com because it can host multiple products and can intercommunicate between two different product lines. Since we are building three different products internally and sometimes the assets/APIs are common for all the projects, we do put it on monday.com and assign the task owner, where other stakeholders also can consume it or comment on the task listed.
