Overall Satisfaction with monday.com
I currently use monday.com for project management, asset management and assignment, parking services management, on call issue tracking, key assignments and currently building two manage work requests.
monday.com is great for tracking of the scope, schedule, and budget of our projects. Before monday.com we were doing so in spreadsheets which can be cumbersome.
I am building inventory of assets to manage through monday.com for assignments and inventory tracking.
I also use monday.com to track parking, permit issuances, parking, violations, and photo gallery for issued tickets. This has streamlined our ability to handle grievances and the submissions to the city for parking violation.
I have also devised a way to use my monday.com to handle our on-call issue tracking easily through a form built in monday.com. This form feeds a table that tracks all of the issues with detailed explanations and pictures and videos if required. This information was also stored on spreadsheets, which was not ideal.
We are also building a new key inventory for our rooms on our campus. We were doing a re-key of our campus, and will begin doing key assignments out of monday.com.

- The ease of set up is amazing, if you’ve been working for spreadsheets, you can import them directly into monday.com, and save yourself a bunch of time.
- Connecting between boards, and or work spaces is great as well.
- Automatically generate QR codes for line items would be nice.
- Blocking more than 30 minutes in the calendar would be helpful. If you want to block a 2 hour section of time on a calendar you can’t currently do this. You have to create 4 events for the same thing.
- Customization for the color scheme of your monday.com product to match the color scheme of your business.
- It has allowed our staff to seamlessly update all of their project information, sometimes at the same time. Doing so on a spreadsheet sometimes causes glitching or issues, none of that so far seems to be apparent in monday.com.
- The ability to easily sort all active projects to a specific project manager is great. Any particular person and see what they have in their portfolio at any time.
- A number of our staff while not extremely computer proficient have adopted their ability to manage their work in monday.com.
I am quite pleased with the functionality of monday.com, I have not experienced any significant issues so far. Minor issues with having to refresh screens to get things to update has really only been my only grievance. However, this may be an equipment issue and not a monday.com issue so I couldn’t say for sure that it’s a problem in the program.
