Overall Satisfaction with Namely

We use Namely as our HR system for performance reviews, time off requests, communication platform and payroll. It is used across the whole organization. We keep track of paperwork, new hire contracts, bonus history and much more!
  • Love the Namely home page. It's like a Facebook but for work! We can quickly recognize people on our homepage, congratulate people on anniversaries and/or birthdays, hold meaningful conversations and transmit important company information.
  • Namely Payroll is great. It's very user-friendly and I love that I can access payroll reports instantly.
  • Namely has a great administrative reporting feature. Any type of report I can have instantly at my fingers. We commonly use profile reports and payroll history reports.
  • The customer service has gone downhill since Namely has expanded. We have gone through a few account reps and their support leaves a lot to be desired.
  • The performance appraisal process can be confusing. It would help if when we set up the templates, there were more explanations about each option.
  • Would love to see the Namely calendar sync with Gmail.
  • Namely has helped us better manage time off to ensure people are using their alloted hours.
  • Namely payroll has saved our payroll team countless hours of labor from our previous vendor.
  • We have had issues with performance reviews not populating when created. This negatively impacted our review cycle this year and delayed us tremendously.
  • ADP and Paychex
In regards to payroll systems, Namely outperforms both ADP and Paychex with functionality and user ease.
Namely offers a solid product. I particularly like Namely Payroll. The program works well for our company of about 450 employees both in the US and outside of the US. The reason I only rate them a 7 is due to the customer service. We have not had the best luck with our assigned account reps.
