Overall Satisfaction with Newswire
Whenever we've put out a press release we've done it with Newswire. At my current organization, we seldom put out press releases, but it feels important (although maybe just the old school way we're all used to) to put out a release on a public forum like Newswire that will promote it for us. We will put out a release for a product launch, a C-suite leadership change, a new big partnership or customer (when they let us), and the like.
- They tell you where your release is getting promoted
- Impressions are tracked
- Formatting and general UX is simple and easy
- I haven't seen any real industry-specific journals pick up our stories from this outlet
- There are tight word count restraints (this may just be our package but still annoying)
- There aren't many options for what industries your release is promoted to (like I've experienced at competitors)
- Increased brand awareness
