We use Nintex Platform for business logic for centrally developed business applications. It's not used for citizen developers.

Nintex Platform was chosen as the developer base was wider and the platform more akin to SharePoint when purchased.

Likelihood to Recommend

Nintex Platform is well suited to professional developer workflows. I've never seen it as a citizen developer as without governance the actions available are too wide and dangerous.
